Clearly Confused Blonde Stout - A style paradox. Despite its light color, Clearly Confused is a rich, roasty and wonderfully complex ale. Made with six different malts, a touch of lactose, then blended with coffee, hazelnut, and cocoa nibs, this is a delicious and fun beer to drink. 6.3% ABV, $14.99 + tax / 16 oz 4-pack

Black Light German-style Black Lager - Another style paradox. Despite its dark color, Black Light is surprisingly light on the palate. This German-Style Black Lager is made with German and American malts and hops and brewed with a hybrid lager yeast. It features a subtle roast character, smooth bready malts, and slightly spicy hops. (This is a rebranded and canned version of Fall Black, which we used to offer in autumn.) 5.0% ABV, $12.99 + tax / 16 oz 4-pack

Shipshape Pilsner - Back in cans! We've also tweaked the recipe so this batch came out a bit crisper and drier than the first. Brewed with continental pilsner malt, noble Saaz, Hallertau, and Tettnang hops, and lagered for over a month at near freezing temperatures before serving, this pilsner features significant floral and spicy hop aroma and flavor, mild bitterness, and nice, light, bready malt undertones. 5.1% ABV, $12.99 + tax / 16 oz 4-pack

Lock IPA #11: Feeder - Available 2/12/21

Our 11th Lock IPA, Feeder, will be available for purchase at our tap room on 2/12/21.

Our Lock IPA series explores the range of fantastic flavors that can be found in hoppy beer.

A feeder is an artificial channel used to provide supplemental water to a canal. Several of the Erie Canal's feeders were navigable themselves.

Lock IPA #11: Feeder is laced with lactose, and driven by the trio of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Galaxy hops. This is an IPA for drinkers with a sweet tooth. It features the aroma and flavors of gooseberry, pineapple, and candied orange, and finishes with a full and creamy mouthfeel. 7.5% ABV

Tap room open - Thursday January 21

Much thanks and congratulations to the local restaurants who successfully lobbied to have our state's restaurants open.

As always, safety is our #1 priority, and we are deeply committed to keeping our guests and staff safe. Therefore, we'll be taking the next week to ensure our tap room is opened properly. We plan to reopen for indoor dining on Thursday 1/21 (open for retail / takeout on Wednesday 1/20). Over the next week we'll be taking an even closer look at our safety protocols and will be cleaning and sanitizing the tap room in detail to make sure we are all safe to return.

The last few months have definitely been a struggle, and we're looking forward to having you back with us for better times ahead. Thanks for your continued support.

Tap room closed as of 1-8-21 at 4pm

Unfortunately, we were informed today that one of our tap room employees tested positive for COVID-19.

Keeping our guests and employees safe is always our first priority. In accordance with ECDOH, as well as out of an abundance of caution, we will be closing our tap room for to-go sales on 1/8/21 at 4pm to isolate close contacts and clean/sanitize our tap room. We will reopen on 1/21/21 for indoor dining.

Our brewery operation is fortunately not impacted. Please remember to visit your local supermarket, bottle shop, or other retail location to buy Big Ditch beer.
